Testing Toolkit now available...

The Common Communication Interface will be the main access point for the Single Platform. In order to communicate with the Single Platform you will need to have the ability to send/receive ISO messages to/from your back office.

The Safe Financials CCI Development toolkit provides you with a means by which developers and system testers can validate their outbound messages and request sample messages via a series of templates.

Outbound messages can be sent via the SimGUI and once processed, the content of their messages viewed by the SimGUI. All outbound messages, in addition to syntax validation, can be validated against an OAM module.

Inbound messages, or reports, will be returned according to Report Subscriptions setup for your User. Files will then be generated using the Auto Flow rules, or requested ad-hoc via the SmGUI. ISO encapsulated files, can then be viewed and copied back to the testers back office system to provide a full message lifecycle.

Why a Toolkit and not a simulation service?

We plan to offer you a 'toolkit' initally before we can offer a Simulator service as we believe the Euroclear documentation is not comprehensive enough for us to say we can offer a 'full' simulation service. Although Euroclear have published documentation covering SP Custody Distributions/Reorganisations, CCI Data Exchange Messages and CCI Message Examples, there is still some gaps missing to allow us to provide this service.

Consequently, we have decided to role out various core parts of the system as they become available i.e We have a fully developed ISO15022 (with Giovannini headers) Extraction/Syntax checker and ability to maintain Custody Corporate Action messages which are available in the Toolkit. However, there are several other areas we consider a little erroneous, for example:

2. Exception Processing

Ultimately, all modules will come together to form a STP process.

Which Inbound Messages can I send?

Using the Toolkit you will be able to send a MT565 message. You can use our predefinded sample message or alternatively cut and paste your own custom generated message content from your back office into the Toolkit and then send on to the Simulator.

Which Outbound Messages can I receive?

Technically it is possibly for us to generate any ISO Euroclear outbound message. However, we have currently based all our outbound template messages on the 'Worked Examples' issued by Euroclear to date. Currently these message types include MT508, MT564, MT566, MT567 and MT568. We can tailor these template messages to suit individual clients' needs.

How do I set up OAM and Reporting Functionality?

In order to configure OAM and reporting you will need to contact the Support Desk outlining what options you would like configured for each of your CCI Operators. Alternatively the default would be to subscribe to all available options.
