Euroclear UK and Ireland's CREST System Enhancements - April 2012
Euroclear have announced plans to implement a new software release
in April 2012 involving changes to the Central Bank Money service. This project
will replace the self-collateralised repo service with a new more efficient
service offering greater flexibility, more automation and greater controls.
The new functionality being introduced is primarily for Settlement Banks and the Bank of England. However, even if you do not wish to use the functionality being introduced, there are a
number of message versions that will become obsolete and will require you to
upgrade to a later version - this includes the introduction of QFCQ Version 18
and deletion of Version 16. All message and field changes are now available to test within the Simulator.
