Overview
The CREST Simulator provides firms with the ability to test their back office systems as if they are connected to CREST. It provides 100% DEX compatibility for all supported message versions. It offers full transaction, reconciliation and file change processing. Transactions can be auto matched by the simulator or matched by conventional dual party input.
The CREST Simulator is a service operated and maintained by Safe Financials Limited and is deployed over the internet, with all transmissions performed securely using FTP, SSH or SSL. For more details on enhanced security options please click here.
New versions of DEX messages will be integrated ahead of CREST allowing clients to test their upgraded systems before CREST trialling is made available.
The CREST Simulator provides the only cost effective testing tool for firms to test their back office system on demand instead of via pre arranged CREST trailling slots. The CREST Simulator has the capacity and message response capabilities to allow testers to use automated tools.
When training environments are linked to the CREST Simulator, the realism is instantly improved. Simulator environments can be reset to allow trainers to use the same example pack numerous times.
