By utilising the CREST simulator I think it is fair to say that we achieved more than we ever expected. Not only did the simulator assist us in achieving an aggressive 'Go Live' date it also gave us comfort prior to testing with CREST. The interaction with Safe is almost identical to our live interaction with CREST. Even down to the Safe Financial help desk acting in much the same way as the CREST helpdesk. Obviously the SF helpdesk go even further, assisting in creating Corporate Events etc and tailoring your environment to your testing needs.
All in all we have found Safe Financial willing and able business partners and continue to utilise the Simulator. I have no hesitation in recommending the Simulator product to prospective clients of Safe Financials."

"We run a regular monthly regression test, checking all the major parts of the system on a rolling basis every month. An important part of this is the CREST test scripts, which cover the whole life cycle of a contract from booking through to contracting, sending to CREST, matching and settlement, which prove Figaro against the simulator. Other CREST processes, such as stock balance reconciliation and CMA reconciliation are also tested - we'd find this considerably more time and resource consuming if we didn't use the simulator"
