New Term DBV Service – DEX Release 20.1

Euroclear’s new Term Delivery by Value (DBV) service is being introduced in June 2011. This new collateral management product will allow you to create a DBV with a return date of up to two years in the future. These are an addition to the existing (overnight) DBV and repo (RPO) functions. For the Term DBVs there will be a new set of transaction types to differentiate from overnight DBVs. The initial stage of changes will be available to test in the Simulator from 4th April 2011.
 
Although the majority of the changes will affect clients who test DBVs, there are also version changes to BSBQ and BSBP messages and some changes to gilts processing for interest payments.

Legacy ISO

The development of Legacy ISO is progressing. Statement Enquiry messages have been completed and development is now moving on to Corporate Action messages.

We are taking registration of any clients wishing to beta test these message types. If you require any further information, please contact support@sfl.co.uk


Webinar

As an additional service to assist our clients, we now have a webinar available to explain how to get the best use from the SimGUI. This is available free of charge to all of our clients. Please contact support@sfl.co.uk for further details.


Statistics

During 2010, we processed over 14.1 million messages, a 14% increase over the previous year. These messages generated over 75 million responses. This equates to our managing 1.7 million messages, in and out, per week.
